Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career in Acute Care while making a difference to patient outcomes? As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Ward, you'll provide person-centred, evidence-based care to a diverse General Medicine patient cohort, working collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional care.
This newly established ward offers a unique opportunity to be part of something from the beginning. You'll play an important role in supporting evolving models of care, contributing to clinical decision-making and helping shape the culture and future direction of the ward. With exposure to a broad range of acute medical presentations, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise, strengthen your critical thinking skills and expand your experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
We're looking for nurses who are passionate about patient-centred care, enjoy working collaboratively and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing service committed to continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare.

A little about us.
Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
Wollongong is located an hour’s drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.
