About the Company

A leading transport company is seeking a dynamic, fast-paced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant Manager to join its finance team in Ormeau.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities. This is a high-pressure, fast-paced environment where accuracy, efficiency and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential. About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Entering and verifying supplier and subcontractor invoices

• Processing debtor invoices

• Reconciling creditor and debtor ledgers and statements

• Reconciling business bank accounts and credit cards

• Investigating and resolving discrepancies

• Responding to supplier, customer and internal finance queries

• Assisting with general accounting and finance administration

• Managing multiple entities, priorities and deadlines

• Supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience using Xero

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills

• The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach

• Experience working across multiple entities will be highly regarded

• CA or CPA studies in progress will be advantageous

• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
