The Pancake Parlour is a Melbourne based, family-owned business that has been operating since 1965.  A company stacked with development opportunities; we are currently seeking experienced Chef to come and lead our busy restaurants!

The Chef role at the Pancake Parlour offers the opportunity to elevate your management skills.

We have young teams of cooks and kitchen assistants who need mentoring, training and leadership in our high-volume kitchens.

Duties include:

• Preparing high quality food, within our set service timeframes, providing a lovely dining experience for our customers.
• Coordinate all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen during your shift, working with established recipes and in accordance with food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Training and coordination of your kitchen team within a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible for food safety and other regulatory compliance, daily ordering and contributing to the planning of the overall smooth running of the kitchen.
• Contribute to menu decisions and future planning of new menu items.

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years full-time work experience in a busy kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Proficient numeracy and literacy.
