About the Role
We are currently seeking a experienced Accounts Admin to join our team in Wingfield on a full-time basis, covering a 12-month maternity leave position (38 hours per week).
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, this role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Your Role
Responsible for management of patient accounts across multiple healthcare providers and systems including receipting and reconciling daily and ensuring 3rd party remittance accuracy / follow ups and adjustments for payment errors between providers
Ensure debtors are managed effectively
Attend to account enquiries in a friendly and timely manner and provide necessary documentation to insurers when required
Work co-operatively within a multidisciplinary team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes
Support the day-to-day requirements and assigned tasks of the business owners and practice manager
Liaise with business partners including external business accountants and other account holders including an understanding of provider service codes and agreement terms
Payroll processing is not required

Medical accounts processing skills and experience will be looked upon favourably however, not essential for the right candidate.
Are willing to apply themselves to learning new practice skills including bespoke software programs and matters unique to Injury Healthcare practices including dealing with insurers and workers compensation scheme providers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.
Personal and team skills - ability to work well with different staff / clients / people.
Attention to detail and quality.
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and organisational skills.
Ability to work un-supervised where required.
Reliable, accurate and efficient - ability to complete your work on time, without fuss, accurately and efficiently.
Professional telephone manner.
Ability to work on-site.
Competent with all aspects of XERO - preferred minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
IT skills - use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Medical Software
