Property Manager

About the role

Whitestone Group is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is hybrid, with our head office located in North Sydney NSW 2060. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our childcare and disability accommodation developed properties.

Key responsibilities

• Managing daily operations including routine inspections, maintenance coordination and facilities management

• Collecting rent and managing tenant accounts, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on overdue payments

• Addressing tenant enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining positive tenant relationships

• Coordinating maintenance and repair works with contractors and service providers, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness

• Monitoring property budgets and expenditures, preparing financial reports and variance analyses

• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and local council requirements

• Preparing lease documentation and managing lease administration activities

• Conducting property inspections and maintaining detailed property records and documentation

• Managing disability accommodation with the SDA Provider

• Contributing to strategic property improvement initiatives and asset management plans

• Operational advice during design and development of assets.

What we're looking for

• 3yrs+ experience in commercial property management, ideally within the NDIS space

• Strong knowledge of commercial lease agreements, property legislation, and relevant compliance requirements in New South Wales

• Excellent tenant management and customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally

• Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office and AI systems

• Sound financial acumen with experience in budgeting, rent collection, and financial reporting

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate property records

• A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
