• $83,421- $96,065 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation
• Location:  Waves Leisure Centre / Mordi Aquatic Centre

About the team

Our Aquatic and Leisure team supports the health and wellbeing of the Kingston community by delivering safe, high-quality facilities and programs. Business Services play a vital role in ensuring strong systems, compliant processes and effective coordination across teams and Council departments.

This role supports operations across Waves Leisure Centre and the new Mordi Aquatic Centre, marking an exciting period of growth and change for the service.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to support continuous improvement, innovation, and business growth activities across Waves Leisure Centre and the new Mordi Aquatic Centre. Working closely with operational leaders, you will support the identification and implementation of systems and initiatives that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

As the Continuous Improvement Officer, you will help to lead improvement projects and support business development initiatives that enhance customer engagement, community participation, and operational outcomes.

What you’ll deliver

• Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes, systems, customer journeys, and service delivery.
• Support the planning, delivery, and review of improvement initiatives and projects.
• Analyse data and performance trends to support the identification of opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of business systems, technology, and digital solutions.
• Assist with marketing, communications, and business development activities that increase participation and engagement.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and stay informed on industry trends and opportunities.

 What You’ll Bring

• Experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives, marketing and promotion, operational systems and customer service.
• Proven ability to support the identification and implementation of systems that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and customer experience.
• Analytical skills and the ability to collate and present data that will inform decisions and recommendations.
• Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current CPR Certificate
