CLIENT MANAGER – TAX & BUSINESS ADVISORY – TAMWORTH – MULTI OFFICE ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 1550)

We’re partnering with a highly regarded, fast-growing accounting and advisory group with 18 offices nationally, including a strong presence in Tamworth. Due to sustained demand and ongoing workflow growth, they are looking to appoint a Client Manager, Tax & Business Advisory. 

You will step into a genuine advisory position where you take ownership of your own client portfolio, supported by a centralised bookkeeping and compliance team, allowing you to focus on high-value client outcomes and strategic advisory work. 

The Role: 

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of SME and business clients  

• Deliver tax planning and business advisory services  

• Focus on strategic advisory work (not compliance preparation)  

• Review work completed by a centralised offshore/remote bookkeeping team  

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve client performance  

• Support new business development opportunities  

• Work closely with senior leadership, including a Client Manager overseeing multiple offices  

About You: 

• Strong background in Australian public practice accounting  

• Experience in business services and tax advisory  

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards  

• Confident managing client relationships independently  

• Strong technical tax knowledge with commercial thinking  

• Comfortable working in a tech-enabled, remote-reviewed workflow model  

• Strong communication and client-facing capability
