Specialist Dental/Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Part-Time Dental/Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team, working within a surgical practice. This role would be suited to someone seeking professional progression to further grow and develop within the dental/medical industry. Working within a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial practice this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated, has a good work ethic and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking of incoming phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries via email

• Providing patients with surgical estimates, booking procedures and coordinating post-op appointments

• Liaising with Medicare, private health funds, hospitals and referrers

• Billing/receipting of patient accounts

• Supporting other staff with day-to-day administration of the practice

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in Dental/Medical Reception desirable

• Self-motivated, great work ethic and a team player

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask, troubleshoot and problem solve

• Willingness to learn and contribute

• Friendly and positive attitude

• Confidence and ability to navigate a PC computer
