About the role
Waterwise Swim School is seeking passionate, reliable and qualified Swimming Instructors to join our friendly team at WEMBLEY AND MOSMAN PARK. This casual role involves delivering safe, engaging and structured Learn to Swim lessons while creating a positive environment in which children can develop confidence, swimming ability and essential water-safety skills.
Experience teaching babies and toddlers will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering lessons in accordance with Waterwise teaching standards and lesson plans.
Maintaining active supervision and ensuring student safety at all times.
Assessing swimmer progress and providing constructive feedback.
Communicating professionally with children, parents, colleagues and supervisors.
Maintaining a safe, inclusive and welcoming learning environment.
Applicants must:
Hold a recognised Swimming and Water Safety Teacher qualification.
Hold a current Working with Children Check and CPR certificate.
Be reliable, punctual, friendly and passionate about teaching children.
Be available to work on weekends and Wednesday afternoons.
