Medical Receptionist (Part-Time or casual)

Location: Upper Mt Gravatt

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming healthcare team on a part-time or casual basis. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with shifts rostered between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and accurate data entry

• Prepare theatre lists in a timely and precise manner

• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally

• Maintain patient records and billing accounts using FYDO Patient Management Software

• Perform general administrative and filing duties

About You

• Previous experience in hospital admissions or medical reception (preferred)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with FYDO is highly regarded

• Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy requirements

• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
