We are seeking a dedicated full-time a Receptionist or Dental Assistant (or hybrid) to join our team in Wollongong! The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with administrative and clinical tasks.

About you:

• Previous experience in a dental assisting or medical reception role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient records efficiently.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
• Assist the dental team during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and treatment rooms.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required.
