Kube Constructions is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.

We are a Melbourne-based residential builder delivering high-quality architectural renovations, extensions and custom homes. Our projects are detailed, considered and often technically challenging, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands quality, and enjoys being part of a well-run site team.

This role would suit a qualified carpenter who is confident across residential construction, has strong attention to detail, and wants to work on high-end homes where craftsmanship, problem-solving and presentation matter.

About the role

As a Carpenter at Kube, you will work across a range of residential building projects throughout Melbourne, with a focus on architectural renovations, extensions and custom homes.

You will be involved in the day-to-day carpentry work on site, supporting the Leading Hand and site team to deliver work safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry works across residential building projects

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans and specifications

• Measure, set out, cut, assemble and install timber and other building materials

• Complete framing, fix-out, cladding, linings, flooring, decking and detailed carpentry works

• Assist with structural works, alterations and renovation-specific carpentry

• Work closely with Leading Hands, site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite

• Identify issues early and communicate clearly with the site team

• Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements

• Follow all site safety procedures and company expectations

What we are looking for

• Qualified Carpenter or equivalent trade experience

• Strong experience in residential construction

• Experience on renovation, extension or architectural residential projects preferred

• Ability to read and work from architectural and structural drawings

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Reliable, punctual and organised

• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Ability to work independently when required

• Strong understanding of site safety and construction sequencing

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Own basic tools

Highly regarded

• Experience in high-end residential construction

• Experience with detailed fix-out, custom work, cladding, decking or architectural detailing

• Ability to support apprentices and contribute positively to site culture

• First Aid, White Card and relevant construction tickets
