Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator

An experienced Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator is required to join our Oral Surgical team in the capacity of treatment planning for a busy and well established Oral and Maxillofacial practice in West Leederville and includes assisting surgeon in Theatre.

This position involves a mix of both admin and clinical duties and must be a team player :

·       Close liaison with the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons to ensure all surgical cases are planned and prepared accurately.

·       Digital planning, including acquiring relevant documents, scanning and uploading of Radiographs/Scans and 3D implant planning.

·       Management, tracking and ordering of stock and equipment.

·       Organisation of patient files and continued follow-up of all cases up until surgery to monitor any surgical or clinical changes and modify as required.

·       Communication with patients, suppliers and medical staff

Assisting with clinical, consulting & theatre cases.

Assisting Dentist's or Oral Surgeon's with Implant, Orthognathic or All on Four experience is essential for this position.

 The successful applicant must have exceptional attention to detail, a knowledge of dental terminology and tooth numbering, computer literacy including Excel and Word. Knowledge of Genie, Gentu and Dolphin would be advantageous but not essential.
