About the role
Reporting to the People Capability Manager, you'll work closely with managers and employees to provide practical, people-focused HR support across recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and compliance. This will commence as a fixed term part-time role until 30 June 2027 with opportunity for a permanent position.
Key responsibilities
Help make recruitment happen, from advertising through to onboarding.
Help develop and improve People Capability policies, processes, registers and systems.
Provide practical, people-focused people capability advice.
Support performance, learning and development activities.
Keep employee records accurate, confidential and compliant.
Assist with Workers Compensation and injury management processes.
Help keep us on top of our people capability compliance and reporting.
Build great relationships across the organisation and contribute to a positive employee experience.
About you
Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resources.
At least 3 years' experience working as a HR generalist across a broad range of people capability functions.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and awards.
SCHADS Award knowledge highly advantageous.
Experience working in the NDIS or NFP sector is highly regarded.
Organised, approachable and people-focused, with strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting, are essential.
Experience using LMS and Salesforce or similar systems.
Benefits
3 days per week – 22.8 hours with flexible hours across Monday to Friday.
1 day working from home each week.
SCHADS Level 4.1 – $46.70 per hour + superannuation.
Salary packaging available as a not-for-profit organisation.
West End office location close to public transport and onsite parking.
