About the role

Reporting to the People Capability Manager, you'll work closely with managers and employees to provide practical, people-focused HR support across recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and compliance. This will commence as a fixed term part-time role until 30 June 2027 with opportunity for a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Help make recruitment happen, from advertising through to onboarding.

• Help develop and improve People Capability policies, processes, registers and systems.

• Provide practical, people-focused people capability advice.

• Support performance, learning and development activities.

• Keep employee records accurate, confidential and compliant.

• Assist with Workers Compensation and injury management processes.

• Help keep us on top of our people capability compliance and reporting.

• Build great relationships across the organisation and contribute to a positive employee experience.

About you

• Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resources.

• At least 3 years' experience working as a HR generalist across a broad range of people capability functions.

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and awards.

• SCHADS Award knowledge highly advantageous.

• Experience working in the NDIS or NFP sector is highly regarded.

• Organised, approachable and people-focused, with strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting, are essential.

• Experience using LMS and Salesforce or similar systems.

• 3 days per week – 22.8 hours with flexible hours across Monday to Friday.

• SCHADS Level 4.1 – $46.70 per hour + superannuation.
