Position Summary:
The National Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company’s national marketing and communication strategies and driving business growth for SDA Living Australia. This role involves creating content, managing campaigns, and building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and create engaging content for a variety of channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive advantages in the SDA Housing Sector.
Develop and implement a comprehensive national marketing strategy to promote SDA Living Australia ensuring alignment with mission, values and goals.
Design, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, events) to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve optimal results providing feedback and recommendations to the National General Manager.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Create and manage content for various communication channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to enhance the company’s profile.
Oversee the development of promotional materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.
Event Participation:
Attend industry-related events, conferences, trade shows, and networking functions as a representative of the organisation.
Identify and pursue opportunities to attend events that align with the company’s business development goals and strategies.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company-hosted events, ensuring they effectively support business development goals.
Collaborate with event organisers, marketing teams, and other departments to ensure successful participation in external events.
Key Skills and Experience:
A relevant degree or demonstrated experience in Marketing/Communications or a similar field
Demonstrated experience in creative design, ideally with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in content creation and use of online marketing tools, including social media platforms and CRM Platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and accessible content.
Strong understanding of NDIS SDA accessible design principles for web and print collateral.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organised with strong project management, time management, and attention to detail.
