$85,000 - $95,000
Includes base salary, superannuation, annual leave loading and a fully maintained company vehicle with fuel provided.

BBC Digital is seeking an experienced, customer focused Field Service Technician to join our Gold Coast team. This is a hands on role with genuine autonomy, technical variety and the backing of an established national business.

About the Role

You will service, repair, install and network Canon and HP multifunction devices and related business equipment across the Gold Coast and surrounding region. The position is primarily field based, with occasional workshop, refurbishment and rollout support as required.

Key Responsibilities

•         Diagnose, service and repair managed photocopiers, printers and multifunction devices in the field.

•         Install, commission and network devices at customer premises using TCP/IP environments.

•         Configure print drivers for Windows and macOS, plus scan to email and scan to folder workflows.

•         Liaise confidently with customer IT teams and internal support staff to resolve technical issues.

•         Complete preventative and corrective maintenance in line with manufacturer procedures.

•         Document service findings, parts used and work completed accurately and promptly.

•         Demonstrate device functions and provide clear guidance to customers.

•         Assist with installations, equipment rollouts, refurbishment and logistics when required.

What We're Looking For

•         At least two years' experience servicing photocopiers, printers or multifunction devices within the office equipment industry.

•         Hands on diagnostic and repair capability; Canon experience is highly regarded.

•         Sound IT and networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, print drivers and scan workflows.

•         A methodical approach to fault diagnosis and strong problem solving skills.

•         Clear communication and confidence working with both technical and non-technical customers.

•         Strong time management, personal accountability and accurate service documentation.

•         A proactive, customer first attitude and the ability to work independently in the field.

•         Current Australian working rights and a valid Australian driver's licence.
