Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking a Zero Harm Advisor to support the delivery of health, safety and environmental outcomes across our operations.

The opportunity

Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking a Zero Harm Advisor to support the delivery of health, safety and environmental outcomes across our operations. This role is responsible for supporting robust Zero Harm systems and performance, partnering with operational leaders, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across projects and sites.
Working closely with project teams, leaders and stakeholders, you will:
Support the implementation and continual improvement of Zero Harm systems, processes and trainingCoach leaders and project teams on health, safety and environmental requirements and best practiceSupport incident investigations, injury management and return to work processesCoordinate Zero Harm reporting, audits, inspections and compliance activitiesDrive stakeholder engagement and promote a proactive safety culture across projectsSupport project mobilisation and shutdown activities where required

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Certificate IV in Work Health and SafetyConstruction Industry White CardExperience in a health and safety role, ideally within a contracting or project environmentExperience supporting incident investigations and injury management programsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship building capabilityWell developed communication and influencing skillsKnowledge of health and safety legislation, standards and management systemsIntermediate Microsoft 365 skillsA collaborative approach with a strong commitment to Zero Harm outcomesThe ability to travel to project sites as requiredPreferred qualifications include Auditor Training, ICAM Lead Investigator qualifications, Return to Work Coordinator accreditation and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
