Dental Nurse All-Rounder

About the role

As a Dental All-Rounder, you will play an integral role across both the clinical and front-of-house areas of our practice. No two days will be the same. You will support our clinicians, welcome and care for patients, coordinate appointments and treatment journeys, and help ensure our clinics operate smoothly and to the highest standard. Key responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during general and cosmetic dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are ready

• Maintain high standards of sterilisation and infection control

• Assist with clinical stock management and room presentation

• Support clinicians to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care

• Welcome patients with a warm, professional and concierge-style approach

• Manage appointments, phone calls, emails and patient enquiries

• Coordinate diaries and ensure the smooth flow of the patient journey

• Process payments and assist with general administration

• Maintain a polished and welcoming front-of-house environment

• Support patients throughout their treatment journey

• Discuss treatment plans and assist with patient enquiries

• Coordinate consultations, treatment appointments and follow-ups

• Build strong relationships with patients and help them feel confident in their treatment decisions

• Work closely with clinicians and the wider team to ensure a seamless patient experience

About you

• Experienced in dental assisting, reception and/or treatment coordination

• Ideally has 1–2+ years' experience within a dental practice

• Warm, polished and professional in their communication

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Confident speaking with patients and discussing treatment plans

• Comfortable working across both clinical and administrative environments

• Able to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced setting

• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences

• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude

• Flexible and willing to work across Geelong, Highpoint and South Melbourne
