Duty Manager

Falvey Hotels have an opportunity for a Duty Manager to oversee the night operations at Falvey's Cecil Hotel. It is a pub with a long history that gets a great local crowd and is of course the iconic pink pub!

The Cecil is one of 6 pubs in our group. We are a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years in the game.

About the role:

We don’t make it a habit of telling people how to do their job, so without going into detail, this role will be very similar to the ones you’ve previously held:

• Lead a team of kitchen, bar and gaming staff to deliver our nightly services

• Implement all promotions created and provide great customer experiences

• Controlling costs of goods and expenses

• Manage customer loyalty program

• Ensure all compliance standards are met for OH&S and OLGR

All of the usual suspects are required, including your RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers License.

You will be supported in your role by our dedicated Venue Manager. We also have an exceptional operations team that supports each of our Venue Managers, including a Group Retail Manager, Executive Chef and Area Managers all to ensure you have the support you need to deliver in your role!

We require someone who has strong management skills and can balance the operational as well as the people leadership responsibilities. It also requires someone who can be hands on, roll up their sleeves and get in the action.

The Cecil offers a full food and beverage service with a capacity of 150 guests. Our opening hours are currently 10am til 4am every day.
