New Vehicle Sales Manager

Westpoint Ford is looking for an ambitious, results-driven New Vehicle Sales Manager to join our team at Hoppers Crossing to lead the team, drive performance and build the future.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive Sales Manager who knows how to build high-performing teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences and consistently achieve sales targets.

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of our New Vehicle Sales Department. You'll lead from the front, coach and develop your team, drive sales results and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

•       Leading, motivating and developing the New Vehicle Sales team

•       Driving new vehicle sales, profitability and market share

•       Setting and achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs

•       Managing sales performance, leads and customer follow-up

•       Coaching team members to maximise their individual potential

•       Maintaining strong manufacturer and dealership standards

•       Building lasting customer relationships and ensuring high CSI

•       Working closely with the broader dealership team to maximise opportunities

•       Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and sales performance

•       Creating a positive, accountable and high-performance sales culture

You'll be an experienced automotive sales professional with a proven ability to lead people and deliver results. We're looking for someone who is:

•       Experienced in a New Vehicle Sales Manager or senior automotive sales leadership role

•       A strong people leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team

•       Commercially focused and driven by results

•       Highly organised with excellent follow-up and attention to detail

•       Confident managing KPIs, targets and sales processes

•       Customer-focused with exceptional communication skills

•       Professional, energetic and resilient

•       Able to lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment

Experience with Ford or a major automotive brand will be highly regarded.
