About the role
Recharge Petroleum is looking for an experienced Fleet Scheduler to join our operations team and play a key role in coordinating the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of fuel to our customers and retail sites.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on scheduling role suited to someone who thrives on solving problems, making decisions under pressure and keeping multiple moving parts on track.
Working closely with our drivers, depot manager, operations and sales teams, you’ll be responsible for planning daily deliveries, allocating drivers and vehicles, monitoring fleet movements and responding quickly when circumstances change.

What you will be doing
Plan and schedule daily bulk fuel deliveries, allocating trucks, drivers, shifts and routes across local, regional and interstate operations.
Optimise fleet operations by maximising truck utilisation, load efficiency and route planning while minimising delays, costs and empty runs.
Monitor and manage deliveries in real time, responding to breakdowns, delays, urgent orders, changing customer requirements and potential stockouts.
Coordinate with drivers, depots, terminals, customers and Sales to provide accurate ETAs, resolve operational issues and maintain reliable service.
Maintain compliance and safety, including fatigue management, dangerous goods, Chain of Responsibility, trip planning, vehicle checks, weighing requirements and incident reporting.
Support fleet readiness and maintenance by monitoring vehicle condition, presentation and servicing requirements in partnership with drivers and the Maintenance Team.
What you will need
We’re looking for someone who is organised, calm under pressure and confident making decisions in a time-critical environment.
You’ll ideally bring:
Experience in logistics, transport, fleet scheduling or dispatch, with heavy vehicle and/or fuel industry experience highly desirable.
Strong understanding of heavy vehicle compliance, including fatigue management, mass management, Chain of Responsibility and quality requirements.
Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working with drivers, customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Practical, solutions-focused problem solver who can make confident decisions and respond effectively to changing operational requirements.
Strong attention to detail and IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with a genuine commitment to customer service, safety and compliance.
