The Northern Land Council is seeking an experienced Regional Learning Partner to support workforce capability across the Katherine and Victoria River District (VRD) region. In this role, you'll work closely with leaders, employees and ranger teams to deliver learning initiatives, support employment and career pathways, and strengthen organisational capability. Working across diverse regional environments, you'll help create learning experiences that are practical, culturally responsive and aligned with operational needs, ensuring employees have the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive.      

About the Role:

As the Regional Learning Partner, you'll be the local link between organisational learning strategies and regional workforce needs. Working closely with managers and teams, you'll identify capability gaps, coordinate learning solutions and ensure employees have access to development opportunities that are practical, relevant and culturally appropriate. 

You'll also play a key role in supporting ranger capability programs, employment pathways and workplace learning initiatives, helping to build a skilled and sustainable workforce for the future. Whether you're facilitating learning, partnering with leaders or working with external providers, your focus will be on creating meaningful development opportunities that deliver real outcomes.

What you will Bring:

You are someone who enjoys working with people and building capability. You understand that learning isn't just about training courses, it's about creating opportunities for growth, development and success. You have experience partnering with leaders, understanding workforce needs and delivering practical learning solutions that make a genuine impact.

In addition to this, you will have: - 

• Relevant qualification (Cert IV/ Diploma) in learning and development, training, human resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.  
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in learning, workforce development or capability building roles, delivering measurable outcomes in a complex organisational setting.
• Experience planning and facilitating learning programs using a range of contemporary learning approaches.  
• A current C Class Driver's Licence and willingness to travel remotely, including by manual 4WD vehicle and light aircraft.

We offer: 

• A base salary of $86,257 per annum plus 15% superannuation paid on Base and District Allowance.
• Salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefit up to $2,650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
• • District allowance of up to $4,884 (DA2) per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,678 (DA1) without dependents;
  • Generous leave provisions 5 weeks annual leave, 18 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3,177;
