Believe Early Education is seeking enthusiastic and passionate Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team in Logan Reserve, QLD. This is casual position with the possibility of becoming permanent part time that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will be instrumental in creating nurturing, engaging learning environments where children can thrive, explore, and develop foundational skills for lifelong learning. This role is essential to our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care that supports each child's unique developmental journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Planning and implement developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to explore their interests

• Build strong relationships with children and families, communicating regularly about progress, achievements, and developmental milestones

• Observe and assess children's learning and development, documenting progress and identifying areas for further support

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of childcare, hygiene, and safety throughout the service

• Support children's emotional wellbeing and social development, helping them build confidence and positive relationships with peers

• Actively engage with supervising children's play and learning activities, ensuring their physical safety and emotional security at all times

• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service

• Communicate effectively with families and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive centre culture

What we're looking for

• A recognised Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong knowledge of child development and best practice early learning methodologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and families

• Ability to create inclusive, engaging learning environments that cater to diverse needs

• Physical capability to actively engage with children throughout the day

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting each child's development

• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain certification)

• Prior experience working in early childhood education and care settings is highly valued

• Flexibility to work any shift between 6.30am to 6.30pm.

• Willingness to be a responsible person in charge, as required.
