Assistant General Manager (2IC) - Vito's

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Assistant General Manager / 2IC to help lead the team at Vito's from the beginning. You'll work closely with the General Manager to establish a culture of genuine, warm, confident, professional and attentive service across the venue and ensure it's delivered consistently every service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team from the floor in a busy, high-energy restaurant environment

• Work closely with the General Manager to establish and maintain service culture and standards

• Train, develop and motivate team members

• Run a busy service and make confident decisions under pressure

• Ensure excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail across operations

About you

• Strong restaurant management experience in quality, high-volume venues

• Confident, hands-on leader who leads by example

• Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge

• Experience training, developing and motivating teams

• Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail

• Ability to run a busy service and make confident decisions under pressure

• Genuine passion for service and hospitality
