Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Business

Brothers Grocery & Meats is a well-established retail grocery and meat store located in

Rothwell, Queensland. We are committed to providing quality products, competitive pricing,

and excellent customer service to our local community. We are currently seeking an

experienced and motivated retail store manager to lead our store operations and drive

business performance.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery and meat retail store.

 Plan and oversee stock purchasing, inventory control, and supplier relationships.

 Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue and

profitability.

 Recruit, train, supervise, and manage store employees.

 Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.

 Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.

 Develop and implement promotional and merchandising activities.

 Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and retail regulations.

 Monitor store budgets, expenses, and financial performance.

 Analyse sales reports and market trends to support business growth.

Skills and Experience

 Relevant qualification in business, retail management, or a related field; and/or

 At least one year of relevant experience in retail management.

 Strong leadership and team management skills.

 Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

 Sound understanding of retail operations, stock control, and budgeting.

 Ability to work independently and meet business objectives.
