About the role:

You will work across a broad range of strata disputes and litigation matters, including:

• Owners corporation, lot owner and strata committee disputes.
• By-law enforcement, governance and common property disputes.
• Building defects and property-related claims.
• Levy recovery and enforcement proceedings.
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
• Applications and proceedings before NCAT.
• Litigation in the Local, District and Supreme Courts.
• Drafting pleadings, evidence, submissions and legal advice.
• Briefing counsel and working with experts.
• Managing client relationships and progressing matters toward resolution.

The ideal candidate:

• At least 2 years’ PQE in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience in strata, property or building and construction disputes will be highly regarded.
• Strong drafting, research and file management skills.
• Confident handling matters with appropriate supervision.
• Commercially minded and able to provide clear, practical advice.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in developing specialist strata expertise.
