About the Role

We’re currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a 12-month contract. You’ll be working closely with our internal Accountant and helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes making sure invoices are processed on time, payments go out as they should, and everything stacks up accurately.

It’s a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, so it’ll suit someone who’s organised, detail-focused and happy to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and on time, making sure everything is coded correctly
• Match invoices, purchase orders and receipts (three-way matching)
• Manage supplier queries and build good working relationships
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up any discrepancies
• Prepare and run weekly payment cycles in line with company processes
• Support month-end by completing reconciliations and keeping records up to date
• Maintain accurate financial data across systems
• Help with audits and other finance tasks when needed
• Keep an eye out for ways to improve processes and efficiency
• Work closely with the wider Finance team to keep things running smoothly

About You  

You know your way around Accounts Payable and can manage a busy workload without things slipping through the cracks. You’re reliable, easy to work with, and not afraid to chase things up when needed.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Strong experience in Accounts Payable (end-to-end)
• Experience working in a high-volume environment
• Confidence with ERP systems (Dynamics a bonus)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• CPA/CA (or working towards it) is a nice bonus, not a must
