Are you an experienced Senior Contract Administrator or Contract Manager looking for a major project and potentially a sea change to Queensland?

We are partnering with an established developer-builder delivering a major multimillion dollar development on the Gold Coast and are seeking an experienced commercial professional to join the project team.

This is a significant, long-term development that will be delivered across two stages over approximately five years, offering genuine stability and the opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a landmark project.

About the Role

Working closely with the project leadership and commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project from procurement through to completion.

The role will include:

• Managing commercial and contractual requirements across the project
• Administration and management of subcontractor and consultant contracts
• Procurement and negotiation of major trade packages
• Managing variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence
• Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis
• Reviewing and managing subcontractor performance
• Working closely with project management, construction and development teams
• Supporting the successful delivery of the project across both stages

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or similar
• Experience working on major construction projects
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Experience managing significant subcontractor packages
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost control
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
• Experience with a Tier 1, Tier 2 builder, developer-builder or similar environment highly regarded
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
