Trainee Store Manager - Retail Camera & Photography Sales

The Company

Ted's Camera Stores is Australia's leader in the Specialty Photographic Retail Industry for over 50 years, employing over 250 employees in 17 stores across Australia.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic retailer with an eye to the future and wishing to make a career in the photographic retail industry. This position will be based at our Perth CBD store and may include working at our Innaloo store as part of our management program.

This Trainee Manager opportunity will suit someone with a strong background in retail sales, telecommunications, or consumer goods. Some store management experience is ideal but not essential. Flexible training and mentoring will be made available to ensure success in your role. 

This is a full-time position that mirrors retail hours, and thus will require availability to work late-night trading, public holidays and weekends on a rotational basis.

About You

Whilst a retail background is a must to secure this position, with a photographic retail background being preferred, if you have suitable skills in retail consumer electronics or retail telecommunications then we would be pleased to discuss this position with you.

• Demonstrate a proven track record in achieving strong personal and team sales results;

• Have a love and the skills to effectively manage a focused sales team;

• Provide customers with a positive, memorable shopping experience;
