About The Role

Our Parts department is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Hornsby. This role is pivotal in supporting our Service and Sales departments, ensuring accurate parts interpretation, timely supply, and exceptional internal and external customer service aligned with the premium standards of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

You will be a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance dealership environment and takes pride in delivering precision, efficiency, and a premium customer experience to our valued clients.

In This Role You Will

•        Accurately interpret, identify, and supply parts for workshop technicians and retail customers

•        Manage parts enquiries via phone, email, and in person with a professional, customer-focused approach

•        Process parts orders, invoicing, and returns in line with dealership and manufacturer requirements

•        Maintain optimal stock levels and assist with inventory control and stocktakes as our Parts business continues to grow

•        Liaise with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Sales teams to ensure timely parts availability

•        Ensure correct pricing, documentation, and warranty compliance

•        Maintain a clean, organised, and professional parts department

•        Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines, dealership procedures, and safety standards

•        Contribute to continuous improvement of parts processes and customer experience

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess

•        Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within an automotive dealership

•        Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and catalogues

•        Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

•        Strong communication and customer service skills

•        Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

•        A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic

•        Intermediate computer skills and experience with DMS systems (preferred)
