Marketing Manager - 12 month contract

Sydney CBD Hybrid Working 12-month fixed term contract  About the role At Avant, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to help drive growth across our Medical Indemnity business by delivering targeted segment marketing strategies, high-performing campaigns and exceptional customer experiences.   This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting Australia's doctors and healthcare professionals through innovative marketing initiatives that strengthen engagement, increase market share, and position Avant as the Medical Defence Organisation of choice. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans that drive acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction across key doctor segments.  Leveraging customer insights and market intelligence, you'll create compelling campaigns and customer journeys that generate measurable business outcomes while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience across all channels. Key accountabilities: Develop and execute integrated segment marketing plans aligned to business growth objectives. Create and optimise targeted campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion. Build compelling marketing toolkits, content, assets, and communications for use across multiple channels. Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure marketing initiatives deliver maximum impact. Work collaboratively with agencies and marketing specialists to deliver high-quality campaigns and events. Monitor campaign performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Utilise customer and segment insights to develop meaningful and personalised marketing strategies. Track and report on key metrics including market share, lead generation, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction. Skills and experience required: Marketing or Communications tertiary qualifications. Proven experience in segment marketing and campaign management. Strong knowledge of customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies. Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution and optimisation. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to balance competing priorities. A customer-first mindset and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. Commercial acumen and a results-focused approach. A collaborative style and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Highly Regarded Experience within financial services, insurance, superannuation, wealth, life insurance, or advice businesses.RG146 certification.
