Restoration Technician / Structural Drying

Boongalla Group are a leading restoration and construction company based in Bayswater, servicing areas all over Victoria. We are looking to add an experienced, full time Restoration Technician to join our expanding business. 

As an experienced technician, you will be among the first to support our commercial clients whose buildings have been damaged by extenuating circumstances such as fire, flood, other disasters or malicious damage. You will provide structural and contents restoration services, as well as generic make safe services, to assist in bringing their building back to a pre-event status.

Your key duties will include:

• Attending site on response jobs and assessing relevant damage: water, fire and/or mould etc

• Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring

• Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clients

• Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory lists reports for commercial clients

• Complete and adhere to all necessary job documentation and site OHS requirements

• General manual labour duties including lifting and frequent driving

• Work away from home on occasion

• Work a rotating on-call roster, including afterhours shifts

The role of a Restoration Technician takes people skills, communication, and physical stamina to do the on-site work required. • Full Victorian Driver’s Licence and Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Have a current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
