Medical Receptionist

Western Cardiology is a large privately owned specialist practice, with multiple service locations throughout the metropolitan and regional area.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at Subiaco. 

Work hours will fall between 8.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required with start and finish times to meet Clinic requirements. 

Role Responsibilities: 

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, promptly and courteously.

• Welcome and assist our patients and visitors - providing exceptional customer service, empathy and care.

• Enter patient details into the system with exceptional accuracy.

• Book and confirm patients for their non-invasive tests in advance, providing test and billing details.

• Scan and maintain appointment referrals and patient documents.

• Distribution/dispatch of correspondence including hospital medical records.

• Open and close the office.

• Undertake general office duties as required.

This is a very busy and dynamic role within a friendly and supportive team. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

• High level interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
