About the Role:

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance department on a 12-month fixed-term basis, based at the head office in Belmont. The Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative services to reconciliation of Aged Ambulance and Corporate invoices.

What You’ll Do:

• Regularly review and monitor individual & corporate debtor accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records match.
• Investigate and process customer refund requests efficiently.
• Investigate and process transfer of funds, as requested.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies between payments and invoices.
• Update and maintain the accounts database with accurate information.
• Ensure function projects are delivered to a high standard and in agreed timeframe.

What You’ll Need:

• 2 years of accounting relevant work experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position
• High attention to detail
• Good problem solving and organisational skills
• Knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to think analytically
• Working knowledge of Dynamics GP (desirable)
