Experienced Food Production Cook

Pasta Lab is seeking an experienced Food Production Cook to join our team in Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in commercial kitchens or food production environments. Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and HACCP/food safety procedures will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production & Preparation: Manage batch cooking and the preparation of sauces, fillings, and other authentic Italian products.
- Quality Standards: Accurately and consistently execute company recipes.
- Food Safety: Maintain strict adherence to HACCP procedures and safety standards, including completing production logs and monitoring records.
- Operations: Use professional kitchen and large-scale production equipment for portioning and weighing products.
- Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and station hygiene.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a cook or within the food production industry.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with Italian cuisine and HACCP systems.
- Knowledge: Excellent command of temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and food hygiene.
- Attitude: Reliable, precise, and able to work independently while managing high-volume production schedules.

- Hours: Monday to Friday Morning shifts.
- Location: Brisbane.
- Start Date: Immediate availability.
