We are a growing contract food manufacturing business producing high-quality ready meals, foodservice components, and handheld retail products for national customers, alongside our own branded range.

About the Role

We are looking for a production chef experienced in volume manufacturing to join our team. The role is casual to start and a permanent four-day roster (across a range of shifts) is available for the right candidate.

You will work in a structured kitchen environment where consistency, efficiency and reliability are valued and bring strong experience working with commercial manufacturing equipment (e.g. Bratt pans, combi ovens and kettles) so you can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat meals in line with our food safety and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in meal preparation.
• Work collaboratively with the chef and production teams to maintain high culinary standards.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to meet daily output requirements.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP and ISO 22000.
• Monitor ingredient quality and stock control, minimising waste and optimising efficiency.

About You

• Experience in high-risk manufacturing environments, production kitchen, or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
• Organised and efficient in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills across all levels of teams.
• High attention to detail, consistency, and quality control.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for food and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Must be available for afternoon/night shift and weekends.
