We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive referral growth across our North West Melbourne territory and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals who play a critical role in patient care.

Every referral represents an individual or couple taking an important step towards building their family. In this role, your work will directly contribute to helping patients access the care and support they need.

About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in growing patient referral volumes through proactive engagement with healthcare professionals across your territory. You will spend the majority of your time in the field, building trusted relationships, identifying growth opportunities and executing strategic territory plans that support referral growth and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans

• Build and maintain strong relationships with General Practitioners, Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, Specialists and Melbourne IVF Fertility Specialists

• Identify and develop new referral opportunities throughout the territory

• Conduct regular face-to-face practice visits and stakeholder meetings

• Deliver educational presentations, in-practice sessions and professional engagement activities

• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on referral growth initiatives and campaigns

• Utilise CRM systems, referral data and market insights to identify opportunities and optimise performance

• Represent Melbourne IVF at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

• Achieve referral growth targets and business objectives

About You

You are a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on building partnerships, influencing stakeholders and delivering results.

You may currently be working as a:

• Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

• GP Sales Representative

• Specialist Representative

• Medical Device Sales Representative

• Healthcare Business Development Manager

and are looking to apply your skills in a purpose-driven healthcare environment.

To Be Successful You Will Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Business, Health or a related discipline

• Previous healthcare and/or sales experience

• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills

• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic territory plans and achieve business outcomes

• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

• Full Australian working rights

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

Healthcare experience within Women's Health, Fertility, Reproductive Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be highly regarded.
