We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive referral growth across Sydney and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals who play a critical role in patient care.

Every referral represents a person or couple taking an important step towards building their family. In this role, your work will help connect patients with the care, support and expertise they need.

About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing patient referrals through proactive engagement with General Practitioners, Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, Specialists and other key healthcare stakeholders across Sydney.

This is a highly autonomous, field-based role where you'll:

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans

• Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals

• Identify and develop referral growth opportunities

• Deliver education sessions and presentations

• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on growth initiatives

• Leverage CRM data and market insights to optimise performance

• Represent IVF Australia at events and professional forums

• Consistently achieve referral growth objectives and business outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to support referral growth and business objectives

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with General Practitioners, Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, Specialists and IVF Australia Fertility Specialists

• Identify and develop new referral opportunities across your territory

• Conduct regular face-to-face practice visits and stakeholder meetings

• Deliver educational presentations, in-practice sessions and professional engagement activities

• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on referral growth initiatives and campaigns

• Utilise CRM systems, referral data and market insights to identify opportunities and optimise performance

• Represent IVF Australia at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

• Achieve referral growth targets and business objectives

About You

You are a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on building partnerships, influencing stakeholders and delivering results.

You may currently be working as a:

• Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

• GP Representative

• Specialist Representative

• Medical Device Sales Representative

• Healthcare Business Development Manager

To be successful, you will bring:

• Previous healthcare and/or sales experience

• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills

• Experience managing a territory and achieving commercial goals

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

• Full Australian working rights

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

Healthcare experience within Women's Health, Fertility, Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology or a related field will be highly regarded.
