FINANCIAL ADVISORY MANAGER – BRISBANE/HYBRID - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 1195)

We are representing a well-established Queensland-based accounting and advisory practice specialising in audit, tax and business advisory services. The firm operates across multiple locations in Queensland, supported by a team of experienced professionals, with additional offshore resources. 

The practice provides a comprehensive suite of services including audit, tax, compliance, bookkeeping and CFO advisory solutions, supporting a broad range of clients, primarily in the SME market. Clients often engage the firm for multiple services, reflecting the practice’s reputation for high-quality, trusted and long-term advisory relationships.   

The Role: 

• Deliver strategic financial solutions and advisory services to SMEs and growth-oriented businesses 

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and advisory projects 

• Act as a key client contact, ensuring accurate and timely reporting 

• Manage workflows and support junior staff to ensure high-quality outcomes 

• Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and efficiency initiatives 

• Provide advice and insights to help clients make informed business decisions 

About You: 

• CA or CPA-qualified with a strong accounting or finance background 

• Experience in CFO-level services, business advisory and financial management 

• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop staff 

• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills 

• Comfortable managing multiple clients, priorities and complex engagements 

• Experience with cloud accounting systems, budgeting, forecasting and advisory
