Project Coordinator – Plumbing Works | Electrification Projects

About the role

Immerge Group is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator – Plumbing Works | Electrification Projects to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Hallam, where you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting the successful delivery of our plumbing and electrification projects. As Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination skills, a practical understanding of trades-based projects and the ability to keep customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams moving in the same direction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities for plumbing and electrification works, liaising between site teams, suppliers and management

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports and quality records

• Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying and reporting on any deviations or risks

• Assist with site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

• Support the procurement process by tracking orders, managing supplier communications and ensuring timely material delivery

• Prepare project reports, meeting minutes and correspondence as required

• Coordinate between trade contractors, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure effective communication

• Assist with contract administration and documentation for project compliance

• Assist with quotes, variations, invoicing, job costing and project close-out administration

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry, preferably in plumbing, electrical, or specialist trades

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project) and job management systems, project portals or scheduling software

• Knowledge of construction project management principles, scheduling and budgeting processes

• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in construction

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate issues proactively
