Experienced Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at our well-established medical practice located in Central Osborne Park.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, compassionate, and confident managing a busy front desk while delivering exceptional patient service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and clinicians.

Our practice prides itself on maintaining a calm, respectful workplace where teamwork and patient care come first.

3 days a week , with Flexibility is required to assist with additional shifts to cover staff sick leave and annual leave when required.

• Greeting patients and creating a warm, professional first impression

• Managing appointments and patient bookings

• Answering incoming calls and assisting with patient enquiries

• Processing Medicare billing and Tyro payments

• Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry

• Supporting doctors and clinical staff with administrative tasks

• Helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of reception

• Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience

• Proficiency in Best Practice software

• Knowledge of Medicare billing and Tyro payments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong computer skills and accurate typing

• Excellent time management and organisational abilities

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
