Situated in the heart of old Kingston on Kennedy Street, with a gorgeous fully renovated space and new kitchen to step into, we are seeking talented, creative industry-driven individuals to be part of Tintino!

Who we are looking for

We’re on the hunt for full-time team members who are ready to put their stamp on Tintino. We need someone who’s collaborative, creative, confident, and excited to build a dining experience that complements our laid-back charm and growing reputation. We want a team who can bring a large venue mentality to a small hybrid space.

We are currently searching for:

• Sous Chef - Full-time
• Chef/CDP - Full-time

Sous Chef

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

You and The Role:

• Genuine passion for food and flavour.
• A motivated mindset with a desire for continuous exploration of varied cuisines.
• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Contribute to menu development and food preparation with creativity and precision.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Service-oriented approach with keen attention to detail.
• Support inventory management and cost control efforts.
• Train junior chefs, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Fill in for the Head Chef when necessary, ensuring continuity in leadership.

Chef de Partie (CDP)

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

You and The Role:

• Assist the team in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Contribute to menu development and food preparation with creativity and precision.
• Service-oriented approach with keen attention to detail and initiative.

Please take note, the kitchen operates 7 days: Monday to Thursday dinner, Friday to Saturday lunch and dinner, with the addition of a Sunday afternoon/evening service. All roles must be available to work evenings and weekends.
