SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST – SYDNEY / HYBRID – CONSULTING & ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 911)

This position is ideal for an experienced analyst or consultant seeking exposure to complex and meaningful client engagements while working closely with senior leadership and industry specialists. 

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical and consulting solutions, supporting organisations across the aged care and disability sectors through data-driven insights, financial modelling and strategic reporting. 

The Role: 

• Build and develop detailed financial and operational models 

• Perform financial analysis, forecasting and strategic reporting 

• Analyse large data sets to generate commercial insights and recommendations 

• Conduct reconciliations, reporting and operational analysis 

• Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders 

• Support project delivery across multiple consulting engagements 

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and clients throughout project lifecycles 

• Apply critical thinking and professional scepticism to ensure data accuracy and integrity 

• Support and mentor junior team members across projects and deliverables 

• Contribute to AI-driven process improvements, automation and reporting efficiencies 

• Manage competing project deadlines and budgets within a consulting environment 

About You: 

• 5+ years’ experience within financial analysis, business analysis, consulting or related analytical roles 

• Previous experience within consulting or professional services environments highly regarded 

• Exposure to aged care, disability, healthcare or community sectors advantageous 

• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability 

• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word and BI/reporting skills 

• Experience using data analytics, automation or AI-driven tools advantageous 

• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously 

• High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset 

• Collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously when required
