Contract Administrator - Leading Commercial Builder

Our client is one of Victorias leading Commercial Builders with a proven track record of delivering diverse challenging projects $1M to $80M +.

Due to continued success they require a talented Contract Administrator to join the construction team.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be located in there stylish West Melbourne office or on site, depending on the size off the project. Joining an established team of leading professionals, you will be integral to the delivery of diverse projects including commercial, institutional, health, aged care, educational and research facilities (fit out, refurbishment & construction).

Experience

The successful candidate must have at least 4yrs construction experience with the Building Contractor, however major sub contractor experience may be considered. You must have progressed your career in a relevant Contract Administrator or similar role, including a demonstrable record of delivering construction or fit out projects $10M plus.

You will be tertiary qualified with in Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar construction related qualification.

Core Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Project procurement, subcontractor and supplier administration and change management.

• Supporting head contract administration including claims, time and financial administration.

• Financial management and reporting including effective use of Procore and related IT software.

• Coordination and engineering support to the Site Manager.

• Project document and correspondence control and filing.

• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly project reports with Project Manager to senior management.

• Assist the project manager and site manager in all aspects of the project.

• Maintain communications with the client & consultants to enhance project outcomes and key stakeholder relationships.

Learning & Development

Your continued learning & development will be of paramount importance, allowing you to develop your construction delivery skills including the understanding of commercial risk and technical delivery.
