Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist, for a CASUAL position working for a specialist in South Perth WA. This is a sole practitioner practice, with 2 medical receptionists and a practice manager. It is essential to possess strong professional and friendly interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, ability to multi task and be able to work well in a busy environment and as part of a team.

Duties include handling patient enquiries, booking and changing appointments, data entry of GP referrals/patient information and billing patients on clinic days. Experience with Genie medical software is preferable. The practice is predominantly paperless environment, so good computer skills and attention to detail is essential.

The casual position is needed to cover annual leave and sick leave for our 2 permanent staff. As cover for sick leave is required, availability to work at short notice will at times be required and would suit someone who lives locally.

We pay using state award casual wage rates and their grade levels.
