Accommodation Manager

The Maraboon Motor Inn, Emerald, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking an Accommodation Manager to join the team!

As an Accommodation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead daily operations of the front office and housekeeping departments to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional guest experiences.
• Plan, organise, and direct team members to maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
• Manage PMS systems and OTA platforms, with a focus on managing guest feedback and online reputation.
• Take ownership and develop streamlined processes, allowing you to shape and improve the way we operate.
• Train new staff to meet required standards and ensure continuous development.
• Track all debtors and follow up on payments to ensure financial accountability.
• Drive top-line revenue and manage financial performance through effective budgeting, payroll oversight, and KPI monitoring.
• Assess and monitor customer satisfaction to identify opportunities for continuous service improvement.
• Coordinate and oversee property maintenance activities to ensure facilities are well maintained.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, policies, and safe work practices.

Who we are looking for:

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor small teams, with a hands-on leadership style and a passion for development.
• Solid understanding of marketing principles, with experience collaborating with centralised digital teams to enhance visibility, execute local campaigns, and manage OTA, GDS, and direct channel listings.
• Strong grasp of revenue management principles, including rate optimisation, inventory control, and channel performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about hospitality with a positive, hands-on approach.

Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.

The successful candidate will be provided with the following:

• Full-time generous salary, between $80,000 and $95,000
