Sydney Metro West is a transformational 24 km underground railway connecting Sydney CBD to Parramatta, with stations at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street.

The Linewide package connects the entire system, delivering the critical rail infrastructure and technology that bring the metro network to life.

Project offices are located across several Sydney locations including the CBD, Clyde, Rosehill, The Bays and Burwood North.

 The role will incorporate a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Provide clerical and administrative assistance to the project team including flow of correspondence into and out of the office
• Reconciling and processing invoices
• Dealing with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintaining various registers and spreadsheets
• Assisting in the month-end process
• Coordinate site meetings, calendars, events, site tours/visits, documenting meeting minutes and other duties related to project management
• Meet/greet and help clients and visitors in a professional manner, including telephone and email enquiries
• Assist with preparing, formatting and collating reports and presentations
• Order and re-stock office stationery, supplies and catering
• Manage meeting room bookings, room set up, attendance, catering, equipment
• Ensure general housekeeping is maintained
• Provide an efficient and professional administrative service to enable the smooth running of the project

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office – Word (Advanced), Excel (Advanced), Power Point (Advanced), Outlook (Advance
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• High degree of accuracy in typing, spelling, and grammar
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective team-player capabilities
• Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and high attention to detail
