Guest Service Agent (Casual & Part-Time) Quest Port Adelaide

Quest Port Adelaide is a stylish serviced apartment hotel located on the vibrant waterfront at 36 North Parade, Port Adelaide, just 15 km north-west of Adelaide’s CBD. The property now offers 192 contemporary apartments across two buildings, located directly opposite each other, with our brand-new five-storey building opening in August 2025.

With this exciting growth, we are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and guest-focused Guest Service Agent to join our friendly Front Office team on a casual basis & part-time basis.
 

The Role

The key responsibilities include:

• Greeting all guests in a friendly, genuine and professional manner,

• Check-in and check-out of guests,

• Handling telephone enquiries and converting these to reservations,

• Assisting in-house guests,

• Finalising guest accounts,

• Potential applicants must be available for a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and Public Holidays (as required). Reception operating hours are 07:00 - 23:00 (7 days).

• The shifts for this role will primarily be in the afternoon/evening from midday

• Ability to do occasional after hours on-call

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate:

• A passion for providing friendly personalised service,

• Reliable and able to work a flexible fortnightly roster at both properties,

• The ability to work independently, unsupervised and within a close knit team,

• Excellent grooming and presentation,

• High attention to detail,

• Personable and bright face to face and phone manner,

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills,

• Previous experience with Windows systems and/or Front Office reservation programs (this would be advantageous),

• Previous experience with Front Office, Customer Service and/or Hospitality and Tourism qualifications will be highly regarded.
